

Youth Empowerment Project – Winter Summit

The Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) is a youth organizing school that supports young people in visioning, drafting, and executing the strategic campaigns they feel motivated to work on, addressing urgent challenges within their community, campus, or school. YEP launched in July and has already engaged near 100 young people.

Participants are intentionally recruited in teams of 5-8 people with an organizing project focus to attend this workshop. If you are interested in participating but have not been recruited by someone from the Wild Project network, or have already attended the multi-day Wild training and want to return with a team of 5-8 people to participate, please contact us before registering.
Logistics:
Time Commitment: The workshop starts with social time on Thursday evening and then a structured agenda Friday through Sunday. Participants should plan to attend the entire workshop.
Training Team: Top trainers Nneka Akubeze, Kortni Malone, Dan Grandone, and others will lead sessions and provide small group coaching (click here for trainer bios).
Cost: The total registration fee is $1,300 per person. If you need lodging, the additional cost is $300 total for three nights (shared room). The registration fee covers the following meals starting the evening of Thursday, January 12th through Sunday, January 15th: (Dinner Day 1, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 2, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Day 3 and Breakfast & Lunch Day 4), customized training materials, training location, and an experienced training team who will facilitate your learning.
Transportation:Participants (or your organization) will be responsible for your travel costs to and from the Winter Summit.
